• growth chart worries

  My daugther is a year and 4 months old, just started walking a few months ago but she has not grown in length in over 6 months. Her doctor said they don't test for growth problems until they are two years old but I don't feel anyone should wait that long and she is already below the normal scale on growth chart for her age. My six month old son is already same height as her an weighs more. He is normal on the growth chart. Her doctor said she may just be petite. My sister, who is a nurse, said from the beginning that she felt the shape of her head was strange. her face is normal but top of her head is a bit wider than my other two kids, although it is very subtle and only we noticed it after she pointed it out. Nobody else see's it that way. It may just be how her head is. Her development is normal for her age. Anyone else out there have a baby who had this happen and have them grow later or have trouble getting their doctor pay attention. am I just paranoid?
